  • Eclampsia
  • Shoulder dystocia

And then some other more gynae-related conditions:

  • Ectopic pregnancy, NB diagnosing this vs miscarriage.
  • AUB, especially if postmenopausal.
  • Family planning, legal aspect of this as well when it comes to children’s rights.
  • Actually, children’s rights in general when it comes to consent to sexual intercourse, procedures, administration of medication, etc.
  • STDs
  • Approach to sexual assault.

Other, non-clinical questions that often get asked:

  • Managing junior doctors/interns in terms of supervision, teaching, etc.
  • How to resolve patient conflict.
  • Clinical governance/cost saving.
  • Batho Pele principles.
