Not all community service hospitals and clinics, or public hospitals in general for that matter, are accredited for the practical experience requirements of CMSA Diplomas. The following is a list from the CMSA’s website (last updated in 2024) showing which hospitals are accredited for which Diplomas.
You will note that most hospitals that are accredited are classified as priority 3 or 4 for community service, meaning that options for provincial bursary holders (restricted to priory 1 & 2 faculties) are severely limited if not non-existent. Foreign applicants are limited to priority 1 facilities only in comserve (no chance for diploma at all) and the rest of the applicants can expect fierce competition in the form of large numbers of applicants to the few accredited hospitals.
Just some healthy realism so that you can avoid disappointment and plan in advance.
