This category is to advertise current job opportunities for doctors.

:white_check_mark: PUBLIC SECTOR VACANCIES can be viewed by anyone, and new jobs can be added as topics to this sub-category by fellow doctors who are also SAdocs members.

:white_check_mark: PRIVATE SECTOR VACANCIES and LOCUM VACANCIES can be viewed by all members. To add a new job listing (topic) to these subcategories you must also be subscribed as a Practice Owner or Recruitment Agency.

When adding a listing as a topic, kindly follow the template provided as far as possible.

For more information on posting a topic, subscribing as a practice owner or recruitment agency, or if you know of a public sector vacancy but are unable to list it, please contact @admins for assistance.

To add a listing, please read the following instructions:

  1. In the Topic title please add the title of your job listing.

  2. In the tags bar please type/select which of the following tags apply to your listing:

  • private sector (needs to be in the Private Sector sub-category).
  • public sector (needs to be in the Public Sector sub-category).
  • long-term.
  • short-term.
  • locum (needs to be in the Locum Vacancies sub-category).
  • consider adding the relevant province as well for ease of access.
  1. Add your job listing description. Feel free to use the template below to make sure you include all the necessary information:

  • Location

  • Job description

  • Core competencies and skills required

  • Working hours

  • Remuneration

  • Closing date for applications

  • Additional notes (e.g. starting date if successful)

  • How to apply. Feel free to include your email address or a link to your website here, or you can ask users to send you a DM via this platform.
