**VACANCY: FEMALE GENERAL PRACTITIONER – PRIVATE PRACTICE**

**Dr Kretschmer Associates | Cape Gate, Northern Suburbs, Cape Town**

📍 Full-time | Start: January 2027

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female General Practitioner to join our private practice at Cape Gate. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general medical care, with an opportunity to develop and manage our women’s health clinic.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**  
• General and family medicine.  
• Contraceptive counselling and young women’s health.  
• Management of menstrual disorders, hormonal imbalances and acne.  
• Perimenopausal and menopausal care, including HRT and bioidentical hormone therapy where clinically appropriate.  
• Preventative women’s healthcare, including Pap smears and clinical breast examinations.  
• Health promotion and personalised patient care.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**  
• MBChB degree and completed internship and community service.  
• Full HPCSA registration as an independent practitioner.  
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.  
• Professional indemnity insurance and own transport.  
• Non-smoker.  
• Christian faith and alignment with the practice’s values.  
• Ability to work independently, contribute to a team and accept guidance from the senior partner.

Experience in family medicine, women’s health, HRT, menopause management or longevity medicine is advantageous but not essential.
