# STEP 12: Radiology and Pathology

_Don’t forget the necessary investigations._

Register with a SANS-accredited **laboratory** in your area, preferably with a pickup/courier service, for example:

- PathCare.
- Ampath.
- Lancet.

You will also need to register with **radiological services** in your area. Many of these can be found at hospitals near you, some also existing as their own practice entities. It would be preferable to register with one that offers online reporting for quick and easily accessible results.

> _It is your choice whether you want to register with more than one of each of the above. Perhaps start by registering with one and decide whether you need to register with any others once you have started seeing patients._
